As far as skills you need,

As far as skills you need,
If you click the first link in that article it will bring you to another article.Henson said he expects technology enthusiasts will test out the tools, even if they don't have much knowledge about writing computer code.
"You should not have to be able to write any lines of code to be able to do this," he said.
Actually, I don't believe this will happen. It says you wont need coding skills. But think, you will need to create models, animations, textures, levels, sounds, etc. It will take more than one stupid kid to make a game. Even if they somehow manage to round up a group of stupid kids, they wouldn't make it through the whole creation process.Dos Mes wrote:Yea that's the only thing that I don't like about it. It requires basically know skill, and stupid kids can do it now. This world is a shame...
Sorry, but what do you mean by that?Dos Mes wrote:That's a good point, but you've also got to remember that it's an arcade game. You can't really put that much in word of amazing models no matter who you are into an arcade game. But I guess the reallly good ones will only come from the creative and better taught.

Exactly, you caught me there.
And to answer your question I meant that the games to be made are for the arcade. And if you make an arcade game with too great graphics and models and such it will be too big for the 360 so there can't be that much you could do to go overboard and make a really amazing game.
And then I was saying that even with the minor restrictions and such, some people will produce a great product, and those people will probably be the people that already know how to make games and graphics and design, and the people that are just plain creative..

I appologize however, I was tired and being told that you can't understand what I'm typing becuase I have a cock in my mouth and then just telling me I'm wrong and not providing reasons for why I'm wrong just pissed me off a little bit last night.
Anyways, still I don't get what you mean by the arcade games will have weaker hardware adn then you say that I'm wrong about them not going to be able to be much of a game.
Wouln't having weaker hardware make them less likely to be a good game?
EDIT: after reading about the XNA from microsofts site itself I realized that it isnt only for arcade games. I had originally been mislead by the artice that Beefs article linked me to. Sorry for all of the confusion and the reason for you guys not understanding me.
