Looking for Editors

I'm just looking for some editors/writers who would be willing to do some story writing for HaloMods. We really haven't had any good stories on the main site lately... mostly stuff about development here at the site. As our community grows, most people don't take the time to visit the main site anymore simply because it has nothing of interest to the users. With a team of editors and writers, we can publish different stories about what goes on here. Some things I'd like to have the writing team do would include Interviews, Mod Reviews, and and whatever else you might be interested in writing for the site. You can apply by simply posting in this topic or emailing me (email address is in my profile). You can apply as long as you meet the following requirements:
-Must be able to test out mods for at least 2 versions of Halo. (If your a PC guy, you'd be able to test out mods and maps for HaloPC and HaloCE - if your an Xbox guy, you'd be able to test out mods for Halo and Halo2 on xbox)
-Must have a good standing in the current community.
-Must have good writing skills.
-Must be able to spend at least 1 hour a week writing/testing mods (prefferably on XBC or online on PC).
If you feel like you meet the requirements and would like to become a HaloMods Editor, just post here in the topic. I'm looking for at least 5 people... so you all have a good chance at getting in. If you have any questions, just ask.

Well I meet all of those requirements, except that I don't know my standing in the user forums community.
I can be a editor for CE. I can spend at least 2 hours a week checking out CE mods.
I have made previous tutorials, Meaning I can type well.
I always check grammar and spelling before releasing anything.
When my xbox is back I can do both halo CE and Halo 2 modding and reviewing.
I also am boared meaning I can do this kind of stuff.

Id be more than happy to help, I was writing a book but my english teacher stole it. I also write scripts for movies for my movie team. And as for the time requirnments, well, all ive done this summer is sit on my butt and stare at my computer screen so you won't have to worry about that either
As for modding, ive been in the modding community for a few years now, I am no noob to modding Halo. I don't have a modded Xbox so I will have to stick with PC.
Also, you can rely on me to get things turned in by the deadline, I go to an early college highschool, they expect high standards from the students.

I would vote for Ravn cause he knows how to use "," this friend and also my other friend ";"
Multi-genre seems also fine to me

I'd consider writing my best attribute, aside from my stunning good looks, of course.
Recently I've done nothing besides wander around my house wondering what to do without Files, so time isn't a problem.
At the current time the whole "community standing" thing would be entirely up for debate, but I have always been compelled to be a helpful person. In the same sense, I'll be blunt if the situation calls for it.
I own all four games mentioned, though I'd definitely consider myself much more of a console person.

ScottyGEE from files once wrote:I would be able to test and review Halo2 mods in detail, especially oustanding mods. However, due to a bad connection I cant really test the maps with other people other than myself.
So even though I'd like to do it, I don't satisfy two criteria
That being halo1 mods and playing with others...
Even without playing with others I can describe the experience and the balancing of the weapons but its ok if you say no, as some weeks I might be able to do heaps of reviews and others not be able to do many.
I could be a backup!

I would totally do this. The only thing that scares me is that i'd forgot to write something...and then you'd have nothing, but if i were to get it i'd be as responsible as i could be. When I try, and with this is would, I can be pretty good. I have all summer to sit at my comp any way, im making some halo videos. I could test both Halo pc/ce and make vids to go along with them, but it could take a while making them and im not sure where i'd put them, i guess link them to video.google.com.
After thinking about the requirements a little, i think i could do it. The only thing that doesnt fit is my standing in the community. I really dont post here. I posted like once a long time ago and i posted my aim account and people have been going to me that way and thats how i help people mod. I have all the time in the world this summer, no taekwondo because i got wrist surgery and my job was at taekwondo, haha. I could give probably half an hour a day or more testing various halo pc and halo ce mods and maps. Also got and A in english, and an A on the midterm and final. See here in this post or other posts i would mess up in my english because it wouldnt matter no one would care, however if i were to get a position like that it wouldn't be anything but perfection.
Let me know if you'd be interested in picking me. My e-mail is
eaoporto@yahoo.com, but you probably know that considering you have my e-mail from t-shirt contest and you wrote to me, and you could just check my profile im sure. My aim is bigern1990.
I have also started writing tutorials on how to mod halo pc for my dads site, its a little site but a site none the less. I put it as a news story.
Easy to do halo pc mods! I want people to learn how to mod correctly without all the mumbo-jumbo.
