Nintendo Revolution's New Name!

The 'Revolution' is officially named
Not sure what to make of
this.
For those Flash challenged, Nintendo announced the official name of the 'Revolution'. It's (drum roll please): Wii.
Why are product code names always cooler then the actual final name of a product?

I personally dont really like nintendo anymore. I only really liked Turok but that came out for PS2. I only play my 64, the game cube is kinda stupid.

All joking aside, this is why Microsoft is more superior at game systems compared to Nintendo. MICROSOFT CAN THINK OF NAMES! they dont just put 3 letters together like:
The XBOX ujk
or
The XBOX yhf
or
The XBOX sla

It's like they are trying to push themselves out of the console war and in the game devolpers that used to be console makers, it seems like the old video game companies end up like Sega and Atari.
