Yeah, I kind of forgot to post this... I was going to post it in the User Forums, but oh well. I didn't have the permissions to post it when I had the time, and forgot to tell someone that did to post it... oh well.
Hmm, tough decision.
Edit: If your mod wasn't made in August, then it shouldn't be on the list. I don't know the dates of the current ones, but I hope they were in August.

Thanks for the tips, Iron_Forge
There was actually a WHOLE thread devoted to the decision of MOTM... guess you missed out on that. I just copied and pasted. I don't really have time to sort out all the mods. If you do, feel free to send me your suggestions.

Lets not have this break into a flamewar over the MOTM. It's ridiculous you guys. This is supposed to be a fun thing.
Right. I felt we needed one, and have been lacking it for several months and figured we should get one out sort of fast.
In next months we should have a more organized method and specific date for both submissions and the actual MOTM poll. I suggest submissions being taken around the 25-30th (If there is to be submissions at all) and a poll being created around the 30th of each month. The usual 10 day poll applies. That way there will be equal time for the creation of mods each month, with the exception of february.

although i kinda organised this and chose the mods if does make some pretty good points
if i could organise halo2 MoTM all the time i would, but cant
if you want front page recognition, post a thread on the front page which the admins consider if its worth putting on, if it is ur on the front page thats it, there, done.

it *directly* modifies the game which would count as a mod regardless of how it was done. i made it the same way i would any other "real" mod, i hexed the mem dumps(which contain most or all of the map meta) and found the value i needed to edit....it just so happened to be that the value i needed is in the xbe.Iron_Forge wrote:On a final note, the 3P "mod" isn't a mod...It's a trainer, it modifies the engine...Since when are applications given the same chance in competition for modders?..Perhaps I missed the memo, but I've seen quite a few that modify things too, and they never seem to make the list...
I think.. If you made a 3P view trainer. You wouldn't mind if it was on the MOTM list. We don't have to be sooooooooooooo picky if it's slight off on not being a mod. Who cares, it still changes something in Halo 2. It acts as a mod. Even some people will use the 3P to make mods.On a final note, the 3P "mod" isn't a mod...It's a trainer, it modifies the engine...Since when are applications given the same chance in competition for modders?..Perhaps I missed the memo, but I've seen quite a few that modify things too, and they never seem to make the list...
On the other hand. Why don't we all just stop complaining about whos on the MOTM list and whos not. It's not like your life is over or your a disease. Just stop being immature.
Say what you want back to me, I don't mind at all.
