Everybody knows, MC makes a run for it at the End of Halo 1.
But he is chased by the Flood.
So what if, while the Door closed and MC wasn't able to see what's going on outside, one of the Flood Infectors planted himself at the Ship's Hull and travels through space...till contact with (Human) Lifeforms...
Is the Flood going down or spreading again in Halo 2?

Just like how it's logical that the Longsword does NOT HAVE ANY FUSION ENGINES? Remember how they got to Halo? The jumped threw slipspace from Reach.It's logical
