what he sed, im getting HL2 on christmas too.

Half Life 2 has better graphics, better physics, more weapons, more modablilty, I personally prefer the HL2 single player, it has a better online engine. It is to me the best game yet, just watch the movies .

half-life 2 is the very best. Halo 2 is mediocre at best. You guys just can't see through the marketing ploys of microsoft.

not to be rude but half-life 2 is jus another genaric FPS. its not original. its been foar to long for them to be original. you cant make a Half-life 2 vs halo 2. The games have nothing in common. Be FPS is about it. Half life 2 is a Sierra game game correct? Halo 2 is a Bungie game. makeing that contest is like Making a contest of gameboy vs a pice of papper. 2 difernt games and 2 difernet systems. just from a few screens shots iv seen of half-life 2 i can see copied things. Half-life 2 isnt suted for the X-box just the same as Halo 2 isn't suited for the PC. Personaly i prefer Halo 2. half-life 2 just doesnt have much originality to it. i give it a 6/10. i give halo 2 a 8.6/10. Halo 2 has the better fell of a true game. also that contest ended at the release of the games. they just still have the poll going. Halo 2 won. the poll is old.
For sierra i prefer the Relic games. Homeworld/Cataclysm. Homeworld 2 is ok but just lost the fell of the original.

Not to be rude, but I think you are wrong. First; you said HL2 is unoriginal, even thought they arguably invented first-person shooters. Secondly, being of the same genres, and on competing systems is more than enough ground to compare two games, yet, your analogy of comparing a "gameboy vs a pice of papper [sic]" is 'uberly' false.

Those truly don't have anything in common. But, to make your similarity coherent: a GB to a PSP, makes sense; just as comparing Halo and HL makes sense.
