In [yet] another effort to help promote helpfulness in the forums, we have decided to create a 'special' rank for certain users who are continously helping people in the forums. They can do this either by provideing CONSTRUCTIVE feedback/criticism, but mainly this rank will be achieved through thoroughly answering user questions in the forums (without degrading comments/flames/sarcasm).

Users will be promoted to this new rank at my discretion, however, moderators/users please feel free to suggest people that are helping out the community. DO NOT NOMINATE YOURSELF. IT WILL BE DENIED. Please vote and help us choose the name of our new rank.

i personally vote none of them for the following reasons:

1. the sentinals are mindless robots (literally) that do whatever the Moniter tells them to do, not exactly the helpful type.

2. the moniter is a treacherous little b.a.s.t.a.r.d who's only wish is to do whatever it takes to destroy the flood, even if that means taking all life in the universe with it.

3. guardian sounds like a title for a moderator

maybe something like engineer or techie? no, those sound like website workers.... i cna't seem to think of an appropriate halo-related name though.... Halomods_Guru maybe?

I like sentinels. I mean they are the monitor's helpers.

I guess Sentinel or Guardian. Weren't Sentinels already there for special people who made good Utilities, like Mono, he's got the Sentinel thing.

Guardians sound supirior, and would be appropriate if they also tried to clean up the forum, didnt flame and were generally very nice people.

My vote goes to Aztec, despite his low post count. Considering every post he makes (or atleast topic) is incredibly helpful.

Dunno why, I just don't see him help more than other do.

You can't vote for Aztec either, he's already a moderator. That defeats the purpose of our new rank. Our new rank is for NORMAL USERS only.

I completely forgot he was a mod.

I have raised Dan, Edwin and Shadow Wolf to Guardian status. I have also raised HunterXI to Guardian.

Finaly in America my vote counts for something.(Unlike electing presidents)

How about Forerunnners? And changing MODERATOR titles to guardian... I think that the names make more sense in correlation to what you get them for.

Dude, kpt, how bout u make moderators have the actual title of moderator, it would help the new users determine who is a mod and who is not...and i really don't see the point of adding the new rank, if they are so helpfull why not just add em as moderators...lol
