i hardly doubt its going to be 600 thats still way too much ill buy it only if its around 300-400 ( yeah right i know ill buy it for 700 too but thats still beside the point)
Does anyone remember the Panasonic 3DO? It was the first true CD game console, with fantastic graphics for its time, and everything was great -- but the price tag of $500 killed it.

But the 3DO is the perfect example, because the price only fell when the thing died. It was sustained at $500 until just before its death. Panasonic justified this by calling it a replacement to the VCR.

That's basically what the analysts are saying; and it sounds very applicable to me.
The best thing that the Analysts have said is basically that Microsoft is playing this well - they could very well end up with equal or more market share than Sony this time 'round.
I want to see the execs at Sony actually try to do well with PlayStation/PSP, without depending on their reputation to get customers. They'd still fall to the 360, but it would be entertaining to see the PlayStation series finally die.

i think the 360 still got a suprise cause when they reveal everything ps3 can prepare itself. We know that the processor of the 360 is better then the playstatioon 3 but did you know that the playtsation3 will have HDDVD supprot and other stuff. But i hope that the Playstation3 reveal something amazing and the 360 will reveal something more amazing
I wish the PS3 will fall beneath Nintendo. Sony's already had its ten years of fame, and I think it's time for someone else to lead the console industry.

Dude what? Nintendo has been the console giant this entire time, they were the first among Sega, Atari, and of cours Nintendo...
True, not counting handhelds. They rock the handheld world now. Apparently in Japan people are swarming for DS's and a puppy-sim game for it. Which is absolutely insane. I hope that stays there.
Bill Gates has some major personal problems. Why's he out to get everyone? Leave nintendo and google alone, man.
Xbox wasn't his idea, as were most other ideas thought up by Microsoft. People just blame Bill Gates for everything they dislike about M$. Same is true with Apple and Steve Jobs, SCEJ/SCEA/SCEE and Kaz Hirai, the US and Democrats...
He is evil though. He was the one who wanted to go after google, and this PS3 launch/Halo3 launch thing sounds not unlike his ideas, and the handheld he's doing that runs on some crazy windows mobile 5.0 (I forgot anything having to do with it other than that MS is trying to beat Ipod). MS should just stick to XBOX and OS making/fixing.
