my first post here so be nice.

i just discovered halomods last month, and i've installed every mod that i can find. IMHO dark ruins is the best. the problem with some of the other mods is that the weapons are too mismatched. Yes, the hive is totally awesome, but the rocket lobber is just way too powerful, plus i never play waterworks since it's too big. with some of the other boards the weapons flash is just to big, it blinds you. and that aliena ivory tower board? there's just too much going on, you can't see anything.

clearly Dark ruins is the best mod of the month. The color effects and origionality of the weapons and mods cant go overlooked. One of the best and most origional mods to date.

If not, the hive has 100x better effects, and murder bloody started the true new projectile era for H2

i have no idea how to vote so im just going to say it. the very best mod is dark ruins. all the weapons are accually modded nicly not like the hive which as such a bad rocketloncher. i probally would have voted for canizbar but i cant get that mod to work on my xbox

So if you wouldnt mind explaining what it is thats bad about the super weapon I would find it helpful.
And if your looking at the modded weapons The Hives weaponry i feel is far more balanced than other mods out there with no single weapon dominating the map (except the superweapon but hey its what its for).
Please dont just post "Its bad" explain whats bad about it.
There all great mods here well done to everyone.

I played The Hive and i thought it was one of the best halo 2 mods ive seen although ive only played 2 since im not much on playing the mods, just making them and never finding the time to release them. MrMurdr, i loved the sound that th grenade made before it blew up, the dieing sound.
