I can honestly say, if it was for time, I would have the third chevron, and I am not just saying that as a joke.
And I, the 18th.

That's my equation, bitch.

Third in state lacrosse + College + Crappy people-person job = Slowing down post count.
I should invest in a monkey that will mimic Xero's posts whenever he see's a Image graphic.
=o

/me patents.

I'd rather try and teach a monkey than a Xero.

Not sure what Image is, but the description makes me think I should have a three chevron version. =o

Well I haven't seen anyone with the third chevron, but I think its pretty clear what it means already. You get this for stating your thoughts about others work.

That could be true but then I think there would be more people with it or at least another chevron.

well, a lot of people do have them, and I'm assuming it doesn't count if you just say "Good Job" in all the threads. I'm guessing it has something to do with providing suggestions, though I could be wrong, thats just going off of the names of the emblems and the people who have them. Also, not many people have the third chevron of any emblem, they usually reserve those for the elite in that category.

I really don't know what it means it could be for giving suggestions but someone has only 5 posts and they have the first chevron so I don't know if its actually for giving suggestions.

Heh guess thats what I get for not looking back more than one page.

Anyways about the Repository, I have rated quite a few mods, but about half the mods I rated were from mimesis, so I never downloaded the patch, so I doubt it has to do with downloading from the repository, though it could be for how often you rate them.

I think the people like greennc and TimHC rule out my "frequent commenting" theory, though the names of the emblems make it very clear it is somewhere along the lines of rating/commenting/critiquing.

ONI::Image

Just a thought:

The Office of Naval Intelligence
Much like its acronym's literal namesake, the UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence manages to simultaneously elicit both blatant awe and suspicious fear, while existing in both the forefront and shadows of Humanity's military operation. Their presence is unmistakable, but their details and internal organization are largely unknown.

Section 3 and NavSpecWep are involved in all aspects of covert and black operations, intelligence gathering, special weapons research and development, mission planning, and consultation.

Section 2 of ONI is involved primarily in propaganda and data manipulation, both in the name of security and keeping the hopes of Humanity set high.

Nothing, so far, is known about the implied Sections 1 or 0.

Their people are everywhere, as most recently demonstrated by Lieutenant Haverson, formerly aboard the Pillar of Autumn and rescued from the wreckage of Halo 04. Although compliant and dedicated, most operatives have a tendency to act above the law, often skirting their own protocols for the sake of speed, subtlety, and effectiveness. Thankfully, while they may tempt fate and hoard their secrets, Humanity's preservation is still a top priority...

Considering the emblem is in all caps, it's safe to say it's an acronym, and seeing as how that information relates to "ONI," I think it would be logical that the two are connected.

Tural's explanation of that seems logical.

They all did their own huge amounts of research on one thing or another.
