I think that bungie should have included a scene in halo where the covenant actually said that to the POA even thought they didn't in the books

I think u got something slightly confused. The Elite says this on HALO! Remember, this is just some random thing Bungie added to their trailer. I think this trailer was made before Microsoft bought Bungie, or at least before Halo was even a game. This was from the original trailer. On that trailer, there were dinosaurs running and such, and the game looked more advanced than it really was, which figures, cause it was a trailer.

This should give life to this topic..........
