If it wasn't for the bg colors of the posts it would look like halo though. And forum themes are supposed to be relatively simple, a complex background would look bad. (If that's what you meant by techie)

I've always wondered why the old skin wasn't selectable in our profiles... personally, I always hated this 'new' skin from the day it was implemented...

I think this skin actually encouraged n00bs to join and spam and flame and whatnot... stupid skin....

We have a relatively low amount of active members nowadays. All we need is enough signatures to show Gren that we want to change the skin. I think the poll is better because it shows how many people care and how many people want each option. An actual petition doesn't show who wants it to stay, and it could even be more than the people who want it to go.
