to be honest, this is an AWESOME idea.... but to tell the truth, the vid was.... kinda boring...... u should have shown more levels and stuff....

I made my own promotional video for CE. Sorry it's only one map. I'm making like 2 more, so u will see more maps then. For now, tell me what you think of this:

Nice video, very impressive. It should get atleast a decent amount of players to convert. I myself have converted around 10-20 people so far, and am still working on it. By the way Voided, it's 11+9+4 = 24.

There's been an overwhelming amount of support to this cause, and hopefull we'll have a website up and running soon. To whoever wanted to know: The song in the video is from an anime series called Hellsing, it's Track 14 (that's all I know) And to the person who wanted to know how I created that wavey effect, I used Adobe After Effects 6.5 with the Cult Effects plugins. There's a nice tutorial over at CreativeCow. After I was finished with After Effects I imported it into Adobe Premiere to do the final composition. To any who want it, you can grab the first of hopefully a few Flash Ad Banners from Here, and you may preview it Here. It was mainly a test to see if I was still capable of creating flash movies, so it's not graphically appealing in pretty much any way conceivable.

BTW: The banner is 400x80 for any of you who will be putting this up.

I like the video; the gameplay selection is very appropriate. The text also has an 'old school' kind of feel to it, and the music is very classy. What's the name of this song?

Oh, dammit. I just had to make a new PC account on XP (don't ask..) and I forgot to backup Fraps. I went to download it again - but now a link to fraps.com appears in all my videos, and I can't go further than 30 seconds. This didn't happen last time It downloaded it - I worked like the full version. Help?
