Because of Halo Mods I'm where I am today. The friendships that I've made here drove me into the world of CG and made me move 1500 miles away from home to go to a good school.

God, I don't come here often anymore but I want to wish you guys the best of luck in your lives as possible. Everyone here has been a huge part of my life in some way or another. This community brought me into video games, led me to meet Anthony (Llama Juice) whom brought me into the more advanced modeling scene, led me to trust the world a little bit more, taught me responsibility without my parents forcing it down my throat, and oh so many other things.

It's odd how an online community can influence a person in so many positive ways.

God bless everyone here, and thank you for all of the wonderful things you brought to this community I_F.

P.S. May this community live on.

, Glad I came back for the first time in MONTHS so I could say Bye.

Quick thing about HM and Me though.

This Site > Modding Halo > Making Models 4 Halo > Making Models 4 Fun > Future Career.

Due to this site and you're brilliant idea to make it, you've potentially laid out my life for me already. Going to attend college at Full Sail in Florida for my 3d design and modeling. Would have never ever ventured that path into game design and digital work if I hadn't come here. I don't know how much that means to you, but it's meant the world to me.

Thanks for everything I_F, You'll be greatly missed by me atleast. Wish I was capable of fully expressing my thanks.

It's been one hell of a ride Iron Forge

Without this site, and halo-mods.com when it was around. I would not be doing what I love. I would not be going into the industry, and I certainly wouldnt be living where I live now.

I can remember when I was 14 and first saw the modding of Halo, I was gobsmacked and knew I wanted to learn how to do it and make my own creations. I'm nearly 20 now (1 week

) and I've learnt so much, pretty much everything I know about computers has happened because I saw what could be done with Halo.

Over the years, new faces appear but sadly old ones fade away. Thank you Iron Forge for inspiring so many people.

I would have NEVER gotten involved in 3d design and animation if it hadn't been for this website. It's been a massive part of my life for the last 4 years or so (To all those confused, remember, formerly Halo 2 Rules!!). Got me interested in texturing, and now I'm to the point where I'm starting up my own short animation. Thank you for everything

You know that brings up a good point for me as well, since i'm pretty much in the same boat. I wouldn't have started doing really any graphic work and such if it weren't for this site, and I got to know a few people around to boot.. Honsestly I don't care if it's not all about modding anymore, this site was successful for me.

I have been modding since grade school I have met many friends though this place and many enemies. It is amazing what I remember over the years all of the "really cool shit" We used to do and all of the time we would spend on just one .map. It is just not what it was any more. I will miss the old days but I'm looking froward to all of the new things that will come. <3 Halo Mods My old home
