Probably halo 3 is in the planning phases, in story wise.
And it really does come down to how halo 2 sells and how well people like it..... and money

yes, I'm sure bungie is willing to give up millions of dollars because they don't want to come up with an enemy for mc to fight other than the covenant.
they could just have him go on a mission to destroy more halo rings and he could fight robots(i.e. sentinels)

I don't know why we're concerning ourselves with halo 2.....its been rumored that it isn't even coming to PC...which I hope isn't true.

But with HEK, all we need is some level overviews....and a few other angles...maybe someone could export a few new models and post them here...and we'll have ourselves a halo 2...minus some of the more drastic changes(co-op...proffesionally done AI engine)

first of all, i agree with vegito, there is no point of even worrying about halo 3 let alsone halo 2.

and I thing that the fall of reach we be a little boreing, u know...being a kid and all. it would be kind of stupid, unless bungie is gonna make something weird happen in halo 2 then I would not expect a halo 3 to even be released.

wow...you said exactly what i said, and as far as the Fall of Reach goes, they prbly won't make it, but if they do, you could play the mission on the planet where they find that wierd artifact, then you could play as a spartan on the ground during the battle, then you could play as mc again during the space battle, and if it were an expansion pack, they wouldn't have to have very many levels since it would be cheaper
