I would do it but I dont know if I would do a good job or not. As scotty said if someone else who gets picked cant do it. I would gladly make a backup.
Yeah.

I would like to help but I don't even have CE on this computer anymore. I think Veegie would make a good writer.

Anton and whoever else can always type up a quick review of whatever (keep it short, it's not an actual review we'll be posting.) if they want to show an example of their writing skills here and we'll tell you if it's up to the standard.

Actually, it will be full length reviews... not too long though... about a page long.. fit with comments on each aspect of the mod, thumbnail screenshots, and a little grading bar. And yeah, if you have any example pieces of work lying around, you can post em here or email them to me.

I was saying short ones for examples of their writing skills, not the actual review.

I'm interested. I think I'm a pretty good writer, so I'd be willing to do it.

I'll write a review for a mod when I get home...
To make things easier for me, fancy finding me a halo2 mod to review? That way I don't have to sift through all the mods to find one I want to review. It also means quicker results ;)

Maybe the gravity gun mod?

http://files.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=51494

Maybe cover things like innovation and appeal... and have a little closing comments section on the end (intro in the beginning too). Rate it on a scale of 1-5...

To whom it may concern,
Though I am limited to Halo 2, I would be both willing and delighted to help. I'm not sure what sort of "rep" I have in this community, but I'm sure I don't have any enemies. I have some great insight to provide, especially when dealing with the aesthetics of a map.

I would appreciate your consideration.

Thank You,
Chad

While I was finishing another 10 hour day at the construction site, I thought of a type of review that I would like to see: BETA mod reviews. I read in "Car and Driver" and magazines of the sort various reviews of cars already on the market. However, some of the best reviews I have read are those of cars yet to be sold; cars that people can only "experience" through the reviews.

Again, I would like to ask for your consideration in this regard. Though I am limited to Halo 2, I would like to do reviews of both mods that have been released and promising mods yet to be released.

Think it over: I know how to write well, I know how to take a good Halo 2 photograph, and I am always willing to contribute.

Thanks!

I agree with chad. Think about how many previews get read for games...they really build up some great hype.

Hi. I think I may be able to help. I own Halo PC and both copies of Halo for the Xbox (I am more of an Xbox guy). Although I don't really do any Halo 1 modding, I can still test out mods and such. I have XBC and Xlink to test with others as well. If I have to, I have 3 modded Xboxs, so I can always test mods with frineds, famiy, or myself if an emergency occurs (like if my DSL crashes for the day).

As for time, I am on halomods and I use my Xbox everyday. I am awake for 16 hours of the day as well, meaning I have a lot of spare time on my hands. I also believe if I was an editor you would be doing me a huge favor. I use school to keep my life on track. Since school is out, I loose track of time unless I work or write or something, and this task would keep me on track.

As for my position in the community, well, I'll let you decide on that. ;) I'm not a mean person and I do try my best to perfect things. Although my grammar isn't perfect, I try. That is about it and if you read this whole post, thank you for your time.

@Excal: Hehe, I realised that after submitting the review but I know I'd be able to improve, and it could help me in my life too this job...Thanks

@Theycallmechad: The reviewing of beta's would be a great thing to do and plus I'd be happy to test and review beta's provided they are at such a stage that there arent heaps of flaws.
Also interviewing the team/person behind the mod and his/her veiws and inspiration behind it would be good too.
