That may be true... but Id still rather to get the new stuff when it comes out, Im getting a PSP as soon as I get enough money.

portables are a waste of money......it might not seem expensive, but they really get you on the games, that's how consoles make their money, it might seem cheap, but say you get 10 games, thats $500 + $200 for the console.

nah, i agree with Katarn. Im gonna stick to my PC. sure, ive had consoles, but theyve never lasted. anyways, this isnt a pc v console discusion.

Logically speaking it would be stupid not to release a halo 2 pc, but it a h3 and xbx 2 comes out soon, then the sales of h2pc may not be as important. idk.

...Halo 2-5 million sales over 3 years. Halo 2 pc-500,000 over 3 years. Actually i think they would rather have halo 3 out before trying to port halo 2 to the pc. But that's just me. And they probably lost quite a few potential customers of halo 3 after halo 2 cause it was so dissapointing.

Well, on PC it might do well, but consider that if they release halo 2 for PC, they have some amazing competition like half life 2, chances are they will release it for PC eventually but because of other PC games coming out they might think that it will make a loss.

Also the ammount of people who said they were dissapointed with halo 2, maybe thats the kinda thing that stops them releasing it on another console.

No, even Microsoft knows that right now their biggest competitor is Sony (wait - do they even have a competitor besides Sony? Remember, while to the fans the Xbox may compete against the PC, but to Microsoft, they both equal profits in some way or another), and Sony stands to take much more from M$ then they would gain if they concentrated on H2PC as opposed to H3XB.

Awesome. Pure awesomeness.

It would be cheaper to buy a console, becausqe you have to update you're computer with new cards and junk every 6 months, and you have to pay for certain games.

Yes you pay monthly for XBL. XBC is free though. Anyone now if you can use a 3 month subscription on an already free subsripted account witout paying any money?

Actually, you can choose to pay either Monthly or Annually (the latter is cheaper per year).

Uh, it was my understanding that you could only use one per account; they then started charging you on your Credit Card without an option to use another.

But why are we talking about this in the first place? All the 2-Month Free Subscription cards that came with Halo 2 copies expired like a month ago anyway.

ALL two month cards manufactured before March 31st expired on March 31st. Haha, imagine buying an XBL game and getting a 2 month trial that already expired, rofl.
