I have just spoken with the creator of this hack, and he is going to make a CE version, I am giving him CE later today and then he is going to get started on it.

is it possible to have a ce version... because doesnt this hack edit the map file so when you join a game and use this on ce it will give exception wouldnt it?

actually its pretty awesome, but the fact that its only for 1.04 sucks. I had 1.04 and then had friends over to play and they had 1.01 and I had to figure out what my problem was to join their servers... aghh

well, it could make you better with a 180 view cus then you could see people trying to sneak up on you easier or somthing...

They now have CE and have begun working on the hack for CE. Hopefully it won't take too long. And yes it works perfectly fine on 1.05.

changing the FOV is like increasing your peripheral vision, therefore making you more aware of your surroundings.

not all of us go for the full-fledged 180 degrees. i use it for 90. anything over 110 is ridiculous. this hack is great when not abused.
