Emblem Discussions
That sounds like a stupid guess like half of the posts in here. If it was that I'm sure many other people would have it...
I swear that logic of if it was that, then many others would have it should be applied in peoples heads before they post their thoughts..
No its not punctuation.. Why wouldn't GTAF, Veegie, Tural and possibly me have it?
No i doubt its about depth of posts, or else Tural wouldve had it.
No I doubt its about being straight to the point because tons of people here do that and they don't have the emblem.
Just apply that logic before you post things like that.

People got quite close to the last one, close enough that I'd consider them solved. Just nobody came out and claimed it definitively, because there's one minor, easily accounted for problem they aren't aware of. =xScottyGEE wrote:Just like the last batch, there's no solid conclusion due to too many variables that I'm considering...
Ok Geo? If it was or fucking grammar than half the people who have it wouldn't have it. How about you go to every single persons profile on the list I posted and click Find All Posts and have a look for yourself.
I'm saying if it was for grammar and those people have it I'm sure all those people I listed and me would have it considering some of those people type rediculously off...
I was getting a point across mainly, is it really necessary for you to post something like that and continue a topic that I was trying to stop?

Maybe it's a ratio between the length of time you've been part of the community and the impact you've made upon it?
idk

I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.
(12:18:11 AM) GTAF: DAMNIT GIR WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT OF VINCE'S DICK.
Sorry, missed the bit about it being automatic. Though last time, you said, "It appears the emblems were done automatically...," but now you're confirming that?Tural wrote:It's automatic, you can't quantify an impact on the community through a script.
Ratio of number of Views/Replies? [/stab_in_the_dark]

It'd be an interesting problem though. Write a program that looks at how often other users refer to a given user by name. Perhaps trying to infer nicknames as well. Looking at how posts and views a thread they start gets. Looking at the same statistics for threads they participate in relative to before they participated.
I want to say the color is related to post count or post frequency. The only thing I could find in common with the smallest user group (Blue) was that they all had very low amounts of pages. Some posted frequently in Halo CE, some Halo 2 Xbox and one guy in other downloads. The one thing I did notice was that they had a large amount of posts in just that one section.
Example: Blue
cheesy1
Posts: 135
Posts in Halo PC: 35
The highest post count of any user in the blue group was axeman with 219 posts but it was more common to see counts in the 70 to 90 range. Also consider that the blue group is the lowest number value (50) it would indicate something to this effect. Assuming this relationship it's possible other color groups relate to posting in either higher count/frequency to singular sections or to having a minimum count/frequency in a certain amount of sections with blue being the easiest and only needing that minimum in one section. Just my observations.
