Thanks, I am a human being capable of understanding and doesn't need to be reminded; that statement still doesn't cover up the whole purpose because there is really none because of the fact it doesn't get applied automatically to each individual user.

It's blatantly obvious it is related to time. However, that does not mean it is solely related to time.

Because it was created when emblems were implemented, which can be categorized as an announcement. It evolved to this discussion.

Same here. Didn't make an account until there was a topic about one of my CE maps. I was here back before they switched to this crappy white style, back when everything was a dark blue (the first time around). Just never bothered to get an account. I was also on both the regular and the files forums. Can't remember which one I joined first...

What image? I think that's the graphics one, but I'm not sure without seeing the picture. I don't have the names memorized. =/

I'll go see if I can find it. I'm pretty sure it looks a lot like "Mad Hatter," which I'm almost positive is the graphics one, seeing as those who won the Halo 3 image contest hosted by ScottyGEE got one.

The Halo 3 image contest should have absolutely nothing to do with the graphics emblem. If it is being awarded for that, the person giving it out is doing a horrible job.

Really? Must've been a coincidence that they all had them, then. That, or I didn't pay very much attention and just assumed.

Anyway...

- "Mad Hatter"

They're very similar, but I thought that the reasons for acquiring were different?

Ribbons are always for contests. Grunge is for graphics, Mad Hatter is for Sig of the Week winner.

To me, it seems a little straightforward in its meaning. But then, if that was true, nearly all active members would have it.

Why do I have no emblems, and how are emblems awarded? Are they given out by staff, or embedded into your profile automatically?
