Well I was a Guardian for a while only before becoming Staff..so one could say that I've helped a huge mass of people; though I'm only a single chevron. I'm not sure it works purely on how much helping is done.

With many people...

With knowledge of how to acquire emblems, gives you emblems.
With emblems, comes respect.

This is because new members don't have any. And therefore, the more emblems you have, the less of a "noob" to HaloMods you are seen as.

Also, people want what they can't have.

Some people on this site have one or two emblems and are respected members so does that make them a "noob"? So because you have obtained two or three emblems in the past week or two you are now not considered a "noob"? I don't think of anyone as a noob on this site even if someone acted like one I don't even use the word "noob".

Well I wasn't refering to Cuda, I didn't even realize you were talking to him, and I accidently removed the part about this is not a flame and I forgot what I did put >_< Sorry.

With no help at all, people have discovered the correct (Or as correct as they can be without confirmation [Meaning they are so logical that it would be dumb to call them incorrect]) meanings of all except these new ones. I think two more can be managed.

I'm at least 99% sure I now know what the Pyre, Firestorm, and Scorched Earth emblems are for and I'm pretty sure many others were thinking the same thing.
