Interesting to note that Xavier has the water emblem and MonoxideC has both the water and fire emblems.
Edit: Yeah, if you go to the Halo PC Outstanding section and click on all the topics with around 40,000+ views, all of those topic creators have at least one of the emblems. So it must be something about popular topics. However, I can't tell what the difference between the two of them is. Maybe one is for popular topics and one for [popular] stickies?

Nothing like waking up in the morning and having 3 rows of emblems and one that has 3 chirvons....
The names give me no clues (obviously), but I guess I'll sit back and see what happens here...
Also, congratulations to all who got their emblem used from the emblem design contest!
edit: I've also been promoted to "critic" too

Well that's the thing, I can't really think of anything...On top of that I can't tell if these are for more recent "achievements"
or if they were set on things for awhile ago but just implemented recently.
So I'll settle with the fact that I flame people really well (Can't think of anything else)...Wait, shouldn't Tural have 4 chirvons?

From what I could tell, the magic number seemed to be up near 30-40 thousand views.-DeToX- wrote:I got alot of topics with alot of views... Stuff like:

Unless you need really high numbers.
I looked at it by view numbers, but it could always be by post numbers. They generally go hand-in-hand.
Edit: However, Lightning's civilian warthog topic has nearly 100,000 views and over 300 replies, yet he has no emblems.

It appears to be so.antszy101 wrote:What does the "critic" emblem represent again? Voting in the serenity repository? I remember hearing that a while back...
As for the popular topics idea, I don't know that I have any immensely popular threads, unless I'm overlooking something. If Shout doesn't have the first for such topics in the Cafe, I don't know that I'd have the second. If we take Shout's YouTube thread, with 25110, yielding no emblems, but my happiness thread, with 57763, yielding two chevrons, why would the difference between 1 chevron and 2 be so close, both between 25k and 55k, but the third be so far? (jks has a 100k topic, only second chevron though.) KB has a 60k topic in Graphics, more than I have, yet has only first chevron.
But wouldn't it be the huge threads that make or break it? The small, couple hundred views wouldn't have a dramatic impact on the count. I don't start many topics, which is what confuses me about the idea.ScottyGEE wrote:If we are to attempt to follow the popular topics idea, instead of single topics with so many views, perhaps its due to the amount of threads that have oh so many views....
Since I'm lazy, can anyone get the list of people with the water emblems?
Generally against the emblem rule with the names not really helping their true purpose, droplet and tsunami refer to how big an impact you've made whilst being here...I_F and Grenadiac have 3...Naturally, they have done heaps. Xbox7887 has done all his crazyness and he's got 2 chirvons.
But thats just a quick guess.

I actually did that about 30 minutes before this was posted.Tural wrote:It appears to be so.antszy101 wrote:What does the "critic" emblem represent again? Voting in the serenity repository? I remember hearing that a while back...
No emblemz for me!

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.
Maybe it's not views, but the value of the post?Tural wrote: As for the popular topics idea, I don't know that I have any immensely popular threads, unless I'm overlooking something.
