you take a 5 degree angle that is like 2 inches long right, it's not that big of a gap? well if you extend that 2 in line to about 2 feet, well that gap gets alot bigger.
here is the breakdown:
Mouse has a much larger area for detailed/precise aim. you basically have more room to fine tune it. a controller stick move about maybe an inch to get the full 100%, well a mouse can move 6 in to get its full 100%. so you will have more room to tweak the "percentage" better given a larger gap.
I prefer mouse. i have a lead cord to an xbox controller converted into usb so i can use it on pc. i also have the drivers to recognize the controller. one weird thing about halo pc is that the controller feels alot different like with the turning and stuff. it just seems alot different from the xbox game
