Halo III? Amazon.com already has it's action figures!
Actually I read that Halo 3 is already under development. I also have the article...
This is the article header
Remarks by Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft Office System Launch
Orlando, Florida
October 21, 2003
And this is what it said about Halo 3...
"We'll show you a capability inside the Office System today that delivers on what we call Information Rights Management. We're working on the next version -- I hate to tell you this confidentially but I'll have to swear you to secrecy now -- we're working on the next version of Xbox right now and we're working on Halo 2 and Halo 3, the two newest versions of the game."
If you want to see it for yourself then go here. It is in approx. paragraph #35.
Well that is what I know about it....so be looking forward to Halo 3 after Halo 2 comes out. Did you honestly think that the money hungry microsoft coperation would let the Halo series fizzle out after two games? This is a cash cow for them...they will stretch it as far as they can.[/url]

No actually MICROSOFT said that. And in these modern times MS is synonymous with BS. ONLY Bungie's official word is to be trusted. And they already said they don't know if Halo 2 will end it or not.spartan-117 wrote:actually u can look there on that site that he posted... it IS there and i believe him
And if they did they wouldn't tell us.
Well since Microsoft owns Bungie and they have the final say...whether there will be another one or not...I would believe them.halofan141 wrote:No actually MICROSOFT said that. KRACKA, I actually believe you, this is an official source guys. Think about it, while Bill Gates is wiping his ass with dollars, the whole corporation technically do own Bungie, although Gates probably isn't doing anything about it.
Trust, an official source, an official source! I am tired...need...hot...chocolate...mmm...over and out...!

You wanna here an official source? right from bungie.com "In October last year, an erroneous release from Microsoft supremo Steve Ballmer caught a few Bungie employees off-guard. Mr. Ballmer's statement to the press (on a completely unrelated matter) contained the following shocker, " we're working on the next version of Xbox right now and we're working on Halo 2 and Halo 3, the two newest versions of the game." Halo 3? What the...! Anyway, turns out it was a mistake, nobody had to go quickly program anything, and work continued on Halo 2."Spartan III wrote:KRACKA, I actually believe you, this is an official source guys. COCKBITES, I say this for my fello Halo player, Bungie was origionally a Mac only game developer. The game "Marathon" which Halo is based on. If you look all around the halo game you see this circle with in a circle, thats the Marathon logo. When my Mac lover friend found out, he was pissed to say the least that Microsoft bought them out (pretty much) and had them update the series for XBOX and PC. But he's in Australia and the net cafe's use PC's so... we play Halo across continients somtimes. He still hates MS though. Eh, I do to, that why I get my stuff via 5 digit discount.
I know that. It was originally for Mac. But hey, what are you complaining about? wouldn't you rather be able to play (a MUCH better game) with PC players as well, meaning that you'll have more than a few hundred people to play with. without HPC, there would be like 200 max players on at a time. so its a plus.
