I have a question, Can you only replace meta data with the same size of an existing meta data?
Let me clear things up, This is my crappy theory but it might work.
info on meta size
Banshee_m = 3420 bytes
warthog = 4116 bytes
Importing textures, projectiles, scenery from halo pc to halo xbox is simple and can be done as long as your replacing something with the same size. My theory is shoving/replacing PC Banshe BG Multiplayer Meta data into xbox Warthog BG multiplayer meta. THat can not be done because they are not the same size, BUT i opened Banshe PC BG meta data with hex editor and i found a whole bunch of 00000000 at the end. What if we keep shoving 0000000000 at the end of Banshe PC Bg Meta data until the size of the file reaches that of the xbox meta warthog.

Some meta yes, some no...Meta injection has always been an easy task, relatively speaking...However, you would have more luck injecting the xBox banshee from one map, into another...The PC version has a model2 instead of a model, which the xBox cannot read...Models are the complex portion that makes it difficult to inject things like vehicles from one map to another...
The size problem you mentioned can easily be overcome, you do not have to replace the warthog.vehi with the banshee_mp.vehi, you can replace things like the flamethrower.effe with the banshee_mp.vehi, or anything which has a large enough area to take it...
