Well this map is basically a reskin of turf to make it seem futuristic, hence the name "Futureville".

It didnt take me to long to make(2 or 3 days) but it is well worth a play. I changed ALOT of skins in thsi mod and the lightmap and sky. Every vehicle and weapon also has a new skin. Oh yea, to test out model injection I stuck an M16 in the map over the BR.

I plan to release future versions of thsi mod but the new version wont be coming out soon seeing as im concentrating on a much more important mod.

Also, if anyone is in need of someone to join there team I am currently looking for a modding team to join. I am pretty good at modeling & skinning.

reskinning isnt simple

to you its not. but to me it is. why? i dont know why really.... but still!

I agree with both of you. Some times its just easy and you can find bitmaps to suit each thing but sometimes it really ticks you off like in lockout those bitmaps are crazy!

if you know where the bitmaps go, its pretty easy

Looks good from the pic's. But that's as far as i can get as when i try to apply the patch it fail's when it get's to processing bitmaps

Hey Lavix, My friend and I are just starting a modding team, need a decent skinner, u in?

I will upload a new patch when I get back on. by the way, reskiing this thing took me a long time. I reskinned ALOT of bitmaps. Some arent to god. you might not like the SMG and Sniperifle cause they are simple skins but the M16 is pretty kickass and so are some of the skins I did.

Also, this is not the last version of this map and it is not the last map I make. This is the first mod I have made and I plan to make many more.

The next map will feature a whole arsenal of new weapons inculding M60's, RPG's, and all sorts of military weapons. I also plan to make a battle tank for the next map.

And Geohowarduk, I would like to see maybe an example of your work or capabilities.

A little backgorund for anyone:

Before I went into modding i was clan leader of machinima clan, XboxMachinima. I have made numerous videos and got into modding to make exclusive mods to better the machinima community. I now am making mods to better both the modding and machinima community. If you are intersted in me joinin your team then you can contact me on MSN or AIM.

ok this is off topic and i really dont want to cause a flame war but this is just a yes or no question, Lavix are you the one that told wildstraydog that you and scottygee got custom built maps on AR,and then i started to laugh at you and then you hated me forever

The reskins nice, the pictures don't do it justice.

i think it loooks good but is it just a skin or is there mods to it too?

Hey, can I also join ur team I skin as well as mod, One of my mods is called cometagulation its in the skins, but I can do much better.
