I haven't been in Photoshop for... 20 months? Sounds about right.
Anyways, I wanted to shake off the rust and try it out. Sadly, I've forgotten a lot, Photoshop has changed, and a Mac has different quick keys. ;_;
After all that and about an hour, here we have it:
Go easy on me, it's my first day...

Looks good! But the colors on the face dont go that well with the inorganic background.

Haha, you actually managed to get better without opening Photoshop.
I don't like the looks of the sound "waves" and how jaggy they are, and the text is over blurred in some areas, but over blurred in others. Fix that part and I'd say you're set. I for one dig the background.

Honestly I don't like it much at all, but after 20 months I don't think anyone can blame you. The background isn't terrible, but it could be better, and the sound waves seem a bit too solid.

Oh noes! You went from PC Photoshop quick keys to Mac quick keys =[
I have that problem when I use the Mac at my school.
The sig looks nice, but the small text looks a little blurry, and the sound waves are a little too solid, maybe if you changed the color to white, and turned the opacity down to like 40?

Looks nice. The small text does look blurry. Also the background seems weird compared to the render. Over all its pretty well done and has a nice concept.

Check:
vs.
I changed the waves to white with 45% opacity, changed the text anti-aliasing to 'smooth', and stroked the text with a black border set to 45% opacity for better view.
Still blurry? Mind that I didn't want it to be super discernible. I wanted you to look hard if you wanted to read it.
Where is the option in PS to space text characters farther away from each other? Like "Hello." to "H e l l o ."?
/me can't find it.
Thanks for the suggestions too, guys.

Thanks bcnipod.
DarkShallFall helped me out. I was looking for the button to pull up that menu. I knew what I was looking for from there. :p

Yay, you made a new graphic, it's like the second coming of Jevus!
Hmm, the white mask could use some blending.
