Before you click the link read below.

The site is nowhere near done. This is just a design test, to get the basic idea of the design down.
I will have an actual host, Freewebs is just a test.

Things to do:
Make each image in Graphic Design/Photography able to enlarge.
Create the actual site in tables, so it's not just images with hotspots.
Add more interactivity.
Improve quality/design.
Add more artwork/photography to the pages.
Add the video and web design section.

Anyways please tell me how you like the design so far. If everyone hates it, I'll scrap it.

If you think something should be added, fixed, or redone. Post it here so I can do it.

So rate the design so far please!

First thought: Blocky. Question: If its no where near finished why are you showing it? ( It looks 10% Finished... Its like raw meat)

There is really no design here... I know it isn't finished but based on what I'm seeing... Meh.

What are you trying to do? What is your visual objective? How is this going to be your site?

I'm just trying to make it simple. Like a way to present my artwork and photography. If I made the site look all crazy with splatters and grunge all over the place people will either be drawn away, or they'll be focusing on the site and not the art itself.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't want it too overpowering, so people aren't strayed away, and I want it to be more like a album, not as much a website.

The site should be art!!! Simple is understandable... but don't be afraid to show off just a little. This should wow who ever views it. Make me want to explore it... not make it a chore! That is my thought. Like it or not... a portfolio is in its self is a design.

Make a good first impression. ^_^

I don't care that it's blocky; it's actually a very nice start.

I think the best thing you can do to change it is to review the white, purple, and green squares. You want a splash screen to be nice and bright, and you did pull that off well with the blue and orange squares. But the white, purple, and green squares are too dull. You should definitely change them to be more vibrant. I'd suggest making it more of a lighter green, more of a lighter purple, and maybe a yellow or pink.

Also, don't cut off the reflection of the title so sharply, and make its opacity much lower.

If you don't mind my editing your image, here's what I would personally would do.

If the two squares on the right are intentionally dull because there is not yet any content for either one, my apologies; I'm sure they'll look fine at their normal colors. If that's the case, then only the white square bothers me.

I like it. I'm not talented with anything like this, so I can't really give much more help then "I like it."

Like Insanedrive said, maybe add a bit more to it, not too much but just enough to make it a bit more interesting.

Also, IDK if it's intentional or not, but under the about me, you list music twice.
