after watching the second trailer for HL2: episode 2 i took this hi-res screen shot and touched it up altered the color slightly and made a background out of it, i enjoyed it so much i thought i'd share it with everyone else.

It'd help to show an original...

well you can watch the video, there is no original, it's a screen shot. i don't know where to watch it though, i got it straight through the Steam Client for half life....


edit: i see what you're saying.... duh, i saved over the original when i made it , it's not that different, the picture was really blue this only took like 10 minutes, i just liked the scene really.

I mean show the version without your alterations...I know where it's from, but it'd be nice to have a side-by-side comparison.

There both pretty good. The first ones more brown, so thats better. Nice job, I'd use that as my background but I've already got one. =p

i actually like the original better. not saying yours is bad though, it just appeals to me more.

i thought the colors were kind of bland in it and it was pretty blurry. i like the original as well, thats why i picked that frame from the video, it appealed to me.
