Well as I said before, it's very cheesey. You can see the beam moving pixel by pixel, and it just appears. There is no fading or anything. There should be lighting effects as well.

He was just saying how to make it better. Not that you should have it done on your first day. I have no clue on the subject of animation so i can judge how hard it would be to do what Ravn said.
