How's it going?

What's up, i'm family_guy, i'm 16 and i'm into computer security, coding, and networking. I really want to be a penetration tester (got a while to go) but I softmodded my xbox and figured what the hell, why not mod halo also. So I ran across this site and found out that these modders are quite talented.

Definately beyond that of what the xbox live 'modders' are. I wouldn't call them hackers either (as i've heard them called', they don't deserve that respect. I would consider the people here hackers before that. In a way, hacking and modding in the case of halo, are relatively similar in meaning. As you know, the original meaning of hacking was getting something to do something that it wasn't meant to do. I believe shooting a tank of a pistol classifies as that.

Well, anyway, that's me, you can find me on plenty of other hacking/coding forums. I'll update my PM info in a while. Thanks for reading and I hope to be able to contribute as much as I can.

Nice, speaking of pen testing, my whax cd has been pissing me off, having trouble dual booting it with xp. I'll probably just grab a 20 gig hard drive for it.

For some reason WHAX won't boot for me, some missing modules, I might re-burn it. I'm fine with Whoppix 2.7 for now though.

If you're still interested in whax, here's a working tutorial on how to get it into vmware, you don't need to burn the disk, just follow what he says and it will install from an .iso.
