Good idea, BEEF. The only problem is this: PNG's have incredibly good quality, better than GIF which our current rank avatars are saved as. When I save mine as a GIF, it looks choppy around the outside. I would prefer to have them as PNG so they look better, but since they're transparent, our IE users would not be able to see them as well. How should we fix this?

Ok. I saved them all as PNG's anyway, so lucky me that I don't have to go save them all as a different file. Here's how they turned out, I tried to make them the same color as the rank.

Tell me if you like them.

Try this.. keep the a in the back white and the arbiter text with a drop shadow or stroke (low opacity)

If you want a good quality .gif, instead of clicking save as to save, click save for web and choose gif. The quality is MUCH better, for some reason.
