How do they look?

The top one looks alright, but the bottom one doesn't. The render is way too flat against the background, and it wasn't blended in very well. That's the tough thing about using cartoon renders.

I've always wanted to say this, but I never have.

One thing I highly dislike about all of your graphics, are that they are always 4:3 (Fullscreen) rather than a signature-looking image which is like 16:9 (500x120, etc.)

Now, this is just a personal opinion, but I highly prefer wider/rectangle-shaped sigs over square-shaped sigs.

I like them Anetheon. The bottom one does seem a little flat. (It almost looks like a pretty good sized [resolution] sprite more than a render.)
But I like bof of 'em. I would, however, try to add some light coming out from the backmost layer to give the right side a little interest.

For the second one, the style of render you're using doesn't go with the style of background. Either switch the render, or redo the background to make it more flat to match the render.

Although the second sig in the first post without the render might look kinda cool :d
