Cities of Night

Post by JK-47 »

Since I don't really make any LP's, I decided to jump into it a bit.

I may touch it up a bit when I find out something else to do with it.

Remove the C4D or whatever that is, it looks bad, and make her shoes less visible through the clouds. Also, tone her colors down a little bit, she shouldn't be so colorful at night, especially in the sky.

No C4D:

Toned down C4D:

Probably is best without C4Ds.

I like the first one. But the cloud looks to sharpened, kind looks like a rock. Also the bottom of the cloud doesn't fade well and doesn't really have a fluffy shape down there. But good job. Maybe try some of my suggestions.

Edit: Lighting would be cool.

Agreed.
I'll work on the blending and a few other mentioned details.

The cloud/girl thing still needs some blending, but it's certainly improved from the first version.

I think you should just get rid of the girl all together, she just doesn't look right with this.

I'll do it and release it.. but it's not official, as the girl is a key part of the images' meaning.

You are right, though. It does look appealing without her, yet I prefer her in there at the same time. Thank you for the suggestion, though, I appreciate it.

Here's another fix for the version with the girl based off of other suggestions:

Why not blend that one cloud in with the rest of them, then re-add the girl? Just a thought.

That's what I did on the newest version ;) I took her out, blended the cloud in, put her back in and blended her in with the cloud.

It bothers me some as well.. But that's just the night sky behind the cloud.
