Half Life 2 : Deathmatch



I am releasing this on behalf of dec1234 who is no longer an active user.

A mod for Tombstone which converts it to the likes of Half Life 2.

This is the final version, no more updates will be made to this map. (That I know of).

I can't list all the exact changes myself because I haven't yet tested the map. Though from the pictures you can get a pretty good idea of what is expected.

If only I downloaded the 2 new maps before modding my console...

You can still download them... if you've got a modchip you probably can turn it off, so you can still go on live with it. You can also download the new maps online, but you can't use them on live.

I don't know... It seems like a lot of work was put into it, and the models look pretty good. But this kind of mod has been done so many times. Even when it's done well, it's hard for me to get excited about it. The skin is a turnoff for some reason, and I really dislike the MC skin.

Still, I'm glad it was released, after gathering dust for a year.

I think if it had AI zombies in it and maybe a cool HL style vehicle it would be an awesome system link map.

The skin could be more detailed...Especially the Spartan...And is the L33t skinned?

I personally like the car, but I don't know what the heck HalfLife is haha.

I would love to play this mod although my Xbox360 is what I am shipping to day to be fixed.

This an probably the only COOL mod for Tombstone..that isn't skin.. All of the other ones such as the Bio...whatever it is called ALWAYS freezes...

I remember when I saw pictures of this a long time ago, it looks good. Too bad Dec isn't here anymore.

I remember how excited I was when I first saw this. I had completely forgot about it until now. I'll have to try this when I get the chance.

this is the best mod i am a big fan of half life,
you just need to work on the sounds and the gravity gun
then it will be the awesomest mod the skin on the guns
could use some work, me and my friend were playing it yesterday
my friend kept hitting me with the stun stick and i kept pushing him
away with the gravity gun,it was fun.

Ha forgot about that.
I remember testing this with Dec then playing Wake Island and him screaming "I'm on fire!".
He did a very nice job with this mod.

Sorry about the bump, but I got Dec in the mood for some Halo 2 vista modding =D I think he might make a return soon...
