HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well I am finally finished and I have to say that it is pretty cool. There are a total of 50 maps for this version. There is only one map that I have found that has a major glitch and that is "Vehicles." I have tried to fix it but to no avail. The problem is that one of the vehicles you try to shoot out will freeze the xbox. But that is the only problem so far.

Thanks to the modding community in general, I mean where would we be if that one guy that thought a honda civic needed a 1300Hp engine descided not to do it or that other guy who thought that a rocket launcher in halo 2 shouldn't shoot just one rocket but five.

Yeah, I am sorry about rapidshare but like I said, I did upload it onto alot of the torrent sites that are out there. Just do google search for halo 2 ump and you'll get about 100 hits in the first few pages that actually have something to do with it.

Looks like a nice compilation of maps. Unfortunately maps like this have been used in mappacks and have been overused.


As for downloading...
I would at least put the rapidshare links in a code display so that it will be less illegal than it already is . I guarantee that a full download to any game will be dealt with immediately. I think that the torrent is fine though.

Hmmmm... illegal, I kind of forgot about that part. And to think I was getting ready to upload an entire ISO of this, oh wait a minute, I think the rules say that I can't upload an ISO! DOH!!

Thank you very much treetoad I completely forgot about that. You saved me from an instant banning. Maybe I will do something special for the ISO direct download.

P.s The links aren't a full download of a game persay, they are only the serenity patches, so I think I am still in the clear.

Yeah about the new site that is better than rapidshare. Apparently you can upload any file size up until your computer freezes. So it's a no go.

I would but they only allow a 500Mb maximum size file and the ISO is 1.55Gb rarred. It would take Hours to upload. The serenity patches alone took 4 hours or so.

Or do you mean upload the serenity patches to megaupload?

P.s Would I get in trouble if I upload the custom xbe file for this? My guess is yes, but I would really like to upload it if possible.

Ok, I have to thank everyone who has been offering to host some of these files. I never would have thought this many people would have willing to do so! I would gladly take everyone's offer if it wasn't for my rediculously slow upload speed. (~60Kb/s even though DSL reports says it is ~467Kb/s) I have been uploading the ISO to Xiion's server for nearly 10 hours now and I am only 80% of the way done. So I think I am probably going to stick to torrents and the couple of servers I have used so far.

P.s If anyone wants more pics of the map pack or ceartain maps, just ask. I'll be happy to post em.

Well mainmenu doesn't look half bad. I kinda like it.

Thanks, I tried my best to make it somewhat original. Just curious, are you off the pic on here or have you gotten it to download yet?

Nah, I don't download map packs cuz I don't have much HD space.

you know for the pics you can just use yelo's Developers mode and hit "White" and "Back" on the controller and it will take a picture of the whole screen.
That is how people get such good pics!!

What? Oh no no no no no no. I am just re-releasing the maps in one easy to find pack I guess you could say. I haven't touched the maps at all except for maybe changing the descriptions of the maps.

Oh, yeah hard drives can kind of fill up quick now-a-days. But at least they are getting real cheap. I found 500Gb not to long ago for about 100 bucks on newegg.
