AI ZONES IN BEAVERCREEK

Fully working AI zones in Beavercreek. just go and shoot them and they will start running after you.this is NOT a jmad swap nor is it SCRIPTING. i have the complete AI zones tut and other maps ready that i will release tomaro there is the serenity patch apply it to beaver creek. halomods wont upload my patch so i will try tomaro.

UPDATE: Halomods still gets an error when i try to upload the file. I have taken some screenshots, im not bull****ing you download and try it. it still needs some tweaks here and there but im working on a tut and more complexe maps right now.

I honestly doubt that you got AI zones working...
but I will need to see your tutorial to be sure. Until then, no download.

well i dident know about the pics but i will remember that. And if you look in the pics the other elites arent moving but one of the are. i only used one squad too meaning............. and they seem to know some of the map geometry. im working on it on coag with other characters too. but iys not all that easy. some changes make more movement and some decrease it. im working on it to try to get them running at 100%. Although i have not made a tut as soon as i get some more features like moving vehicle i will release it. i added another map to the top you can see that they will move for a certain point of space then just stop moving hence the zone.

lol, Well yes guys this is real AI zones, But come on these zones were just slapped on there, im sure you could have done better. Oh and give Shadow credit.

And btw, your stichings are horribly incorrect.

Look who's talking! If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be anywhere close to where we are today! :P Anyways, I didn't want this mod to be released until I felt it was ready. I just tested this and he does indeed have some kind of AI zones. It's clearly not a jmad swap. They move around like in campaign and know some of the geometry, example: the elites start on that big rock thing and I saw one of them jump down towards the pistol spawn platform!

It's not perfect yet but this is an amazing start on AI zones.

Trulife what do you mean just slapped on here? I haven't seen any kind of partial AI zones working in mp...

Oh and what are stitchings? I want to learn! :D

Well when I say slapped on there it kinda goes hand in hand with stichings, all this is pretty much is like one really really big zone and they can move around thats why they are so stupid and run into things, But if he stiched the zones a little bit better you would have great gameplay.

im working on a document and a zone map to better shoe the zones. BUT i found out that if everything is not linked corectly it wont work. ita hard to explain but my document will. I know these arent FULL zones but this is the BASIC zone. it gets very complexe but tis siple once you understand. and yes i did not credit shadowz BECAUSE its not ready for a full release. i would like to get further into it. and if you can get one of you elites into one of the bases he seems to know where the walls are.

i have made a very detailed explanation of how the squads link to each other. its in modding discusion. I will writ the tutorial tonight and release the first AI zones map.

Well im blown away.......
I tried the map but it took me back to the main menu =(, Good job guys.
Edit: I also dont see a credits list Shadowz and Trulife should be in the creds and so should i =P
