Sorry if the skin is bad...i tried to get the original AR skin in but had no success..on the other hand..the skin looks like a stealthy black color.
What i did was get the model of the AR from Halo PC and did some stuff and replaced the BR model with the AR model...this is my first successful injection. I didnt mess with the AR model as i would like it to be original.

A proper UV would be nice. Also instead of doing one little thing to the mod you should spend a little more time and give it a nice skin or something.

you need to invert the model and re-inject it

I take it you tried to inject the dds with dothalo? It gives you the wrong error. If you look in the raw editor when your bitmap is selected, it tells you what dxt it has to be.

Cptn I think he means to inject the skin. To inject you should use entity. I had trouble at first adjusting when I started skinning, but now I love entity. Here is the newest version
This version of entity allows you to inject bump maps too. A tutorial, Here.

Hope this helped.

UV map isn't Halo 2 modding, its a basic modelng skill. Its to "map out" your model onto a 2d bitmap, and allowing you to texture it. Its what all of those things are in the [bitm] tag. (mb not the best way to put it, but thats what a UV map is)

Also, It's been done before.
