D-Day.

This is my third mod,
I really have to thank
Darkshallfall for his amazing models.
This is the beta version so i just want to know what you guys think of it.
It's for Zanzibar.

Description:
This is just a beta version:
weapons: all the models are changed to WWII models.
the weapons are all balanced.
characters: the masterchief is marine and the elite is still the normal elite.
I still have to do the spawns and the collisions and all but i think this is a good start.
It is defenetly fun to play but I want it to be kickass so give me tips and plz pm me if you know how to fix collision.
The map is partialy skinned the sky is changed, i added some fog and edited the lightmap.
I'm sorry for the poor pics.

You didn't make the models, all you did was place a few things. and change the lightmap.

Hey i never said i made the models.
OOh and something else it will be an AI mod.

Don't release a mod that you are using to learn stuff. Release a mod AFTER you've learned stuff.

I released this mod to get some comment of sorts as good job or that is wrong and try to do that and ad more things such sort of comment not the comment you give like ooh youre a noob and you have think logically and don't think that but do it and blahblahblah.
EDIT: and i've been busy with my ai for more then a week now and they just do not appear on the map even not with yelo and i have done everything wright as in the tutorials.

I actually tested this, and it is not bad at all. Much better than many of the projectile swaps we've been seeing lately. Back of the kid drxthirst. Just because you are almighty doesn't mean you can bash this kid's first ever posted mod. I mean seriously...who do you think you are? Get over yourself. K thanks.
To sum it up koekoek, I think you could maybe add some rain or something, but this is not bad...not bad at all. Keep it up.

its nice that ur trying a new mod with skins models and balanced play but i think Darkshallfall beat u too it

I edit this because i see now u want feedback on what to do maybe look at dark's and then find the other d-day mod for zanzi and compare and contrast the differences from ur mod to there's
for good feedback lol this is mine the water needs a little bit of changing fix the lightmapping more add a skin which u said u were working on get the AI working maybe change the Elite to something else or skin there armor to look a little different

The ships are just boxes... and they have no UV or Texture Map.. Did the covenant elites help out in world war 2?

1. Mod is unrealistic in a bad way.
2. Don't host pictures on HaloMods, we are trying to conserve bandwidth so we can bring you outstanding mods (can't say this counts as one).
3. Use Yelo to take pictures, it makes the world go round in the modding community!
4. Skin all the water bitmaps, not just it's small close range detail layers.
5. In picture #3 the turret is partly (if not al by these off centered pictures) in mid air by it's floor mount.

6. Indeed, is this the entire map and you closed off the rest with machs or whatnot? Or did you not do anything else to the map (including skinning it) and there is nothing else changed.

I agree with what he said, we were all NEW once, so just chill, I actually kinda like this mod, hopefully the final is A LOT better though, it needs plenty of improvement, but its not bad for a first...Well a

mod doesnt look that bad btw. but please dont release betas, they make baby Jesus cry. Post pictures of your mod in the pictures section instead that what I always do when I want some feedback on a mod/project.

i've tried to add ai but everything is going fine untill they don't show up ingame, an i did use yelo.
