description:
This outlying forerunner structure was once a peaceful place, but has long since been the heat of space battle.

What has been done:
  • Ambient atmosphere and sound environment to accompany the space theme.
  • Placeholder skin
  • All weapons modded
  • New vehicles
  • New skins
  • New models
  • Finish the 'perfect' ranger
  • Testing SLC
Known Bugs:
  • Bad FP model for the Gauss Cannon
Ranger Elite:
I've been working on this one for a while now. Its finally complete! Unlike other attempts to have a playable Ranger Elite, this one actually has custom bitmaps and shaders. He is 100% color changing, and has the exact same appearance as the original Ranger, aside from color changing. If you don't believe me, I do have pictures. (Yes, they are pics of an Elite's ass. :? But, its the best part to show you what I am talking about)

HUMAN:

MA5B Assault Rifle
Taken straight from the Pillar of Autumn's arsenal, the MA5B is back in action and fires with the exact same deadly blow at close to mid range.

BR52 Battle Rifle
This older version of the Battle Rifle features a new camo, and a more powerful projectile. The downside? One shot bursts.

S3AM Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
It may be bold action, but this weapon provides one helluva punch! Its almost guaranteed kill in the head or torso. But, remember that it comes with limited ammo, and every round must be chambered. Don't miss.

M68 Gauss Cannon (Hand held)
This weapon was ripped straight off the Warthog, and is light enough for the Master Chief or an Elite to carry. Be warned, though, as it is detached from its original power source, and has only 10 shots before it is useless.

Frag Grenade
The new frag grenade is more powerful than the old one, and sounds like it too. But, it is built with a new timer that doesn't detonate until the grenade is at complete rest, giving you more time to get away from the blast radius.

M12 S-LRV Warthog Mk. II
The warthog, codenamed S-LRV, or Super Light Recon Vehicle has had its gun taken off the back to allow greater speeds to be reached. This allows for one more person to sit on the tailgate of the vehicle. This vehicle is built for getting around, not for attacking.

COVENANT:

Green Plasma Rifle
It is unknown why the Covenant changed their primary weapon to green. Field reports say that it fires the same as the original blue plasma rifle. But, heat scoring is also said to penetrate skin deeper, leaving a bigger gash in the body. Be careful with this weapon, it is extremely deadly.

Rapid Rifle
This weapon is one of the most mysterious in the line of Plasma Rifles. It has a deep gray/blue color, but fires scorching white plasma at speeds never before seen in a covenant hand held weapon. The weapon has no problems with overheating, but has much less battery life than the average Plasma weapon.

Poison Rifle
Some say this weapon is related in some way to the Green Plasma Rifle. It fires deadly, poisonous plasma blasts that seem to do heavy amour no harm, but demolishes flesh like no other. Take caution, as this weapon recharges its ammo after a while, and never runs out.

Beamer
This weapon, made by the Elites fires a powerful beam at its foes. The beam is light blue and overheats the weapon fast. Unlike other plasma weapons, this one fires multiple concentrated beams, in ramdom directions. It is highly lethat in close combat, but is rendered useless in mid-long range battle.

Fuel Shot
It looks like the Elites modified the Brute shot to their likings. Its large bayonet is replaced with a plasma blade, and it fires Fuel Rods as opposed to grenades. The Fuel Rods seem to hurt a lot less, though.

Needle Grenade
The needle grenade is a new grenade fashion brought up by the covenant. It has a small, but highly deadly blast radius, and has the similar characteristic to attach itself to certain targets.

Banshee
Since the move from the Covenant, the Elites have been getting rid of their old purple styles, much similar to the Heretics on the Halo ruins. The vehicle now has no more blue contrail that came up due to speeds of the craft. Contrails of white still appear though from hard turns.

Shadow
The shadow, once designed for troop transport, now features an empty belly, with no extra personnel to be seated besides the driver and gunner. This new varient features a beautiful gold luster when undamaged.

Sentinel Beam
This is the original Sentinel Beam from the Eliminator, or captain varient of the Sentinel. Nothing on this weapon has chnaged, except for its unlimited ammo source.

yea really nice but drxthirst2 y would it be locked i don't think that the models are ripped at all the assult rifle is a posted model along with that sniper the only thing new that i havent seen is the detachable hog turrent

I like it alot, but I don't like the 'brown' on the vehicles/weapons. (i.e. Creep, Sentinel Beam, BR.)

What kind of a space map has a non-plain theme?
Space is got to be the most interesting, but sadly dull place I have ever seen. Its perfect! lol

It doesn't need to be an uber-orsm full of life skin, cus space has no life, therefore it would make no since to put anything in the skin more than what I have.

The base has a lot to it though... :roll:

The Sentinel beam skins are not changed. Those are the original skins. The creep isn't brown, its gold. And the BR is, uh, brown. lol. ur right there.

Now is anyone gonna play the map and comment on weapons and abilities, and not the skins? lol (me= not a good skinner)

The Sentinal Beam appears to have lost it's FP model.

Other than that, great job.

I thought the deal was, as long as its hosted off site, you could have ripped models. so i asked turel why my mod was locked, and he said the rule is currently being discussed, and as of right now, no ripped models.

I don't understand why models taken from Halo 1 are ripped, when you buy the game, its is yours, you buy everything in the game, thats why we can mod these maps... If you own both Halo 1 and Halo 2, and have Halo 1 models in Halo 2... Theres no problem...

Something with Halo 3, Bungie knew people like us, where gonna rip the game apart, everything they put in the game, they know its gonna be searched to every last bit.. All things in the maps parent secret (they may be cool to know but one day, its gonna be known even more), the devs intended it to be there, so its ours to find out.

Anyways enough blabber, I dont think its ripped models at all if you own both games, therefor you have a legal copy of the game. You cant stop people from downloading it that dont have Halo 1, but thats there fault on there end, you just need to have a disclaimer. Im just ranting, otherwise iif ripes are from users thats not cool, but as far as I know when you own the game, you have the right to copy, modify, display, and a bunch of other things (go look it up).
