main menu alfa- updated again

Im mostly looking for feedback on this cause i might be taking a new turn with this menu all together. I know there are no pics but then again its an alfa and only two things i need from the community.
First i made the blue filter white, which incidentaly made the game black and white in the background, and want to know how much you like a white background.
Second is i want your feed back on the slayer quickoptions. I added more, fixed the scrolling issue, and changed the order in which some things appear. I want your feedback as to whether or not you like the order given or if it needs more work. If it does need more work ill try to consolt the community more about the order before an official release.
update:
I uploaded a new version of the main menu. It has the look of my one pic, just with out the halomods sign. I also added more quick options for assault and CTF. Now all i have to do is get the order of the options for the two other gametypes, find the limit to the goof tag, add the new maps to the menu, and finish the overall look of it.

Small update that i think people will be happy with. First is that i added the new maps to the menu. I also added a second lockout to for yelo users since the original doesnt load when using yelo to disable the auto update. The second blue filter was also removed. Let me know if you like it without the second blue filter that appears behind some menus.

On a side note i was going to make the new maps show thier correct bitmap but i just made them the unknown bitmap so you can tell the difference when you have the update on.

I like it! Perhaps you could add a Save Gametype option, if possible? Can't wait for the final.

obviously i still have a lot of work to do. Look forward to more quick options for the rest of the game types, more choices for the options, like none for primary weapon, and secondary heavy vehicle in vehicle option of the gametype editor. I am open to sugestions when it comes to things like that cause i already know some things like instant arm assault can add to a game.
Also on a side note what do you think would happen if i added a 1 option to max active players? Would you just get a game over or would it swap out every time the guy suicides?

I think it would swap out just like when you're standing on the spawn point. Nobody spawns until there's a free space to do so.
Or it might just freeze.

i smell a test on kai for this. Also double check that secondary heavy vehicle works. I thought it did but you can never be too sure. Im mostly looking forward to having a weapon select on every game type.

im lovin the million and a half options to change in the quick options. and i think the way u rearranged them is perfect. idn so much about that white tho. too plaint and theres no color. i like how u had the halomods sign on the top of the building be4. if u dont do that again then u should def change the camera movements. maybe have it like do a spiral up the tower and some other stuff. and i think i would be awesome if u could somehow make is so u can still see the bsp and what not when u go into system link or where ever.

agreed that blue screen is boring

im still working on the seeing the bsp at all times. Ive wanted to do that from the begining but so far no luck cause even if i remove the the bitm its a solid color behind it. Halomods spinning sign is out cause of bitmap problems, i might however have it so it shows halo 2 at the push start screen and have it shift to halomods after you select your profile.

then u should make the camera track(bridge-ship-city and back) different. and also see if u can make it so when ur in system link picking a game, its shows the name of the game when u go over it instead of slayer or w/e and the map.

looking good turk, the white is ok...it would be really cool if it changed colour but i don't see that happening
try a very light blue colour

Have you found out how to change the filter colour to any colour, or just white?

Nice work Turk. I don't think the white looks better than the yellow version though. I'm not at home to try this but do you have team changing as a quick option this time? I also have a patch for a colored mainmenu that someone did back in the day. I can send it to you to add to your patch if you want. It adds color to the flag, etc. when you're choosing the gametype.

yeah it can be made any color. Here is how you do it since i updated the shader plugin at xzodia's site. Just go to the desatureation shader and change the "other color values" reflexive. Just remember since they are bytes it 0-255 instead of the standered float.
And to the one guy who asked, yes it should have the team changing option on the menu this time around.
