Plasma Shield (Bubble Shield Grenade)
I simply added the soccerball to Terminal (triplicate.map), gave it the phmo of the assault bomb and the effe of the active camo, and had the plasma grenade's explosion spawn the soccerball bloc. The spawned bloc lasts a short time and eventually disappears.

all the map changes:
1. Plasma Grenade - Plasma Shield
2. rocket spawns explosives and a wraith blast (What? It's fun.)
3. battle rifle is single shot (more like the E3 demo)
4. if it counts, I changed the lightmap slightly

yet to be done:
1. the visual effect for the inside of the bubble
2. the assault bomb or whatever else generating the bubble
3. the generator able to be destroyed, resulting in the shield deactivating

I enjoy watching the projectiles stop in mid air.

I can spawn as many plasma shields as I can throw.

Very similar to the very ineffective bubble shield effe on a previous mod. I used Working Halo 3 Bubble Shield (not really 'working') as a base by accident, so the magnum may still spawn something. Easily fixed in dotHalo or Insolence.

Yes, you can fire from inside it, and yes, it protects you. Also, I want to know if it's too small. I was thinking it could be double the size.

I think it looks great, nothing wrong with the size IMO.

The only thing that worrys me is that there is a lot of shields.

ya there are the yellow one like this was okay a little big i like yours fjgamer but ninja and some other have made some sheild too just havn't released yet i like blue way better than yellow idk how you could do the effect inside but still noone has made a model for it to look like it does on halo 3 hehe ( seriously i would im not complaining i just can't test it my router broke, and im broke, and not to mention my xbox won't connect i still havn't figured out why not? )

it is easy to be able to see it from the inside. And this is very easy to, but atleast you released yours. I would sugest adding health because you can shoot out of it (like mien). And yes blue does look cool i have messed with it to...my current version is a see through glass blue =P

and BTW....not to be mean anything..and anyone with sensitive ears stop reading....

actually i dont know....i never really release stuff i get to lazy and bored...but i guess since i am on break i will finish my mines, radar confuzer (yes MY name for it), and shield....all with 3rd weapons to deploy them.

Looks nice but you need to fix the fact that u cant see it when your in it, if u want me to i will do the model 4 you my aim is below.

I think you should just leave this up to the pro modders. They will have one working, fixed, finished and released soon enough.

I think you shouldn't discourage people from exploring and experimenting. Even if you could do something better is that any reason to tell someone not to try it? Who knows perhaps he could come up with something interesting and, or, unique that nobody had thought of before.

I think it could be because the model he used only had one face so to say...well... no; back-faces I guess would be more of a accurate description.

I never discouraged him from anything. I never even told him it was bad. I just was merely making a point that it would be easier for more experience modders to do. However, people always get criticism like this in life, and if you take it too seriously and end up quitting whatever you are doing, then you will never get anything done in life.
