With these patches, you can add the new maps to any mainmenu.map without having to re-add any other mods you may already have added to your mainmenu.
Before you go start downloading and patching all willy-nilly, read this first:
-Make sure you patch to a clean 'derelict.map' or 'highplains.map' (That means get the maps straight from your Xbox, any modified map you patch to may not work).
-Also, you MUST use Serenity 3.3 for these patches to work.
-When patching, make sure the mainmenu.map you want to add Desolation and Tombstone to is in the same directory as the patches and derelict.map and highplains.map.
Ex:
-Lastly, all Main Menu information is provided in the patch! =D
Snave wrote:So since Desolation & Tombstone were released today by bungie, i thought i'd go ahead and create another patch that adds all the new maps released by bungie to the mainmenu. Doing this allows you to mod these new maps like any other map files that are contained on the Halo 2 disk. All the old new maps have also been added.
Please place all the maps into the maps directory to load them! Example:
Not removing untill i finish my gir*from invader zim duh* forza 2 car. Started 6/17 Personal Project~{Twilightabout 50% done i hope}~ 92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are part of the 8% who still like tacos. Put this in your sig if you like tacos.
Well sucks to be me
I would've made a mainmenu patch, but when I tried to generate one it got effed up. Maybe my patches will be easier for the noobs. =/

Good job as always though, Snave.
Heh, no worries I knew at least someone else would be doing the same :p
Alright thank you so know i can mod them because like i did and i failed to load the map i resign with both cmr's and they still didnt work!!?? Any ideas or will this do the job?
There is a Halo 1 weapon in the hang em' high remake... its hidden...and not playable without some model swaps... which doesn't really make it a weapon, lol -- oh well...
