[MOD] Modern Combat (Updated 11-6)

I'm fianlly back, I've been extremely busy with in the past months, well between school starting, sports, and relationships I couldn't seem to find time to actually get on my computer and mod, and when I actually get back on to mod my HDD takes a **** and i had to reinstall windows. (Vista RC2 this time)
Well anyway, heres the mod. (Do remember this is my first mod, feedback and suggestions are welcome)

Description: The Covenant had taken control of the Zanzibar Island Hydro-Power plant in an attempt to shut off all power to the city of Mombassa. Later that night the UNSC have sent in a group of Marines to eliminate the potential threat to Mombassa, the battle has already begun!

Changes:
Lightmap/Skinning
The whole level has a night time feeling to it, its foggy adn theirs a night sky.

Scenery
There are two pelicans and HEVs on the beach representing the UNSC and their are Covie HEVs and other Covie tech around the base.(More coming in V2)
There are burning vehicles around the level
There are two wathogs on the beach and two ghosts inside the base, you must open the gate to get them out, but YOU CAN CLOSE THE GATE, so don't fret.
The wheel and all other machines are turned off to represent the covenants attempt to shut all power off to Mombassa.

Game play & Weapons
Their are a few minor weapon changes for realism and balance.
FRG and jackal shield added to the Covie arsenal.
BR has two zooms (2x and 4x) its single shot but does more damage per bullet.
The sniper is now fully semi auto and kills in one shot
The OFF flag and bomb spawn/capture are moved
The Neutral bomb spot has been moved/same with the flag.
The oddballs are now spread around the mad instead all at Camp Froman

11-6 Update:
The Gauss cannon is now alot more powerful but doesnt shoot near as fast.
The Human and Covie HEVs are now in their "Deployed state"
One of the FRGs was removed and a Beam Rifle in its position

The Jackal shield can now be held in either hand.
Covie batteries and storage boxes have been added round the Covies base.
There are now weapons and grenades scattered around the blown up Vehicles. (And yes, their ore covie weps by covie vechs and human weaps by human vechs)
Main Menu support is now added (The Map is named zanzibarisland)
And a few other tweaks I'm not so sure of

Suggestions and Constructive criticism are welcome.

What about the gate? How does it work if the power is out?

Acid Reflex I dont think it does so youll have to use the door :) no Forced Entry for you 8)

actually not only does the door open... but you can close it back up too!! lol I just played and it was really really cool great mod omg I really thought that johnson was going to pop out and tell me to move up that beach and secure that building! really cool you should all try it.

I really like the base seup on the beach, really nice job.

Some critisizm, the fog may be a bit thick.

No, you dont have to delete yours, the more the better, and looking ar urs brings upa bug, Depending on where you spawn some of the vehicles will not spawn exploded, just shoot then with one bullet and they will explode, also, I need to get my hands on that Updated HLTM plugin the lets u disable lock-on for vehicles, i looked adn foudn a link but the domain expired and i cant get it.

ya i didn't try locking on but those burning vehicle were definitly turning my aimer red.
i had ai enable so I don't no if that made a differance

EDIT: 1 more question... how is this your first mod and you said that your back? just wonderin

No, its in the HLTM tag, I cant make the unti neutral cuz i dont have the updated one

I started on this mod sometime in mid summer and when i first released it the serenity would refuse to load on other peoples Xboxs and i never fixed the problem, i got to preoccupied wiht a GF, fall sports and school that my Xbox jsut sat around and collected dust, but now that XC (The sprt...try to figure that one out :roll:) is over i actualyl haev some time to actualyl sit down and start pounidng my keyboard to remake my first mod, and yes this is my first mod, well acually second becasue i had to redo the entire mod due to HDD failure.

How did the Odst/UNSC get out of the HEV pods if they were closed...

Edit: Aha, I know why... They forgot to deploy the hev parachutes and died upon impact, thats why they coulden't open the door.

Sure lets go with that, i was trying to swith the default HLMT premuatation with the no dorr premuatation but both of them had the door, same with the covie HEVs. Actualyl they liked being neat and put the doors back on :lol:
