[Mod] Hunters in Zanzibar!

This is a small mod I put together for Zanzibar. Contains 20-25 Hunters, I haven't actually counted. This is just for fun to goof around with, enjoy.
There are a few random sounds throughout the level, I'm not sure why, I believe it's when I added the Hunters something didn't transfer properly.

(5 Frames)
- The hunters don't freeze when hit by grenades or rockets.
- They do move, melee, and shoot at you.
- They don't however respawn (yet?).

have you tried throwing a grenade at them or shooting a rocket at them??
if so, does it freeze, cuz i tried to make a mod exactly like this but each time i transfer the hunters, itll freeze if a grenade detonates on/near a hunter of if a rocket explodes on/near one.

That is why you null out the sounds for the hunter. I think it is the udlg sounds.

Grenades and Rockets work fine on them. I nulled the udlg sounds of him. Which might actually be why the map makes strange sounds periodically.

No, they do not respawn.

Movements all sweet the respawn ain't perfect yet either. Also do they try to beat you down when they get close. I noticed most AI doesn't have beating animations.

Yep, Once you alert them they start shooting at you or they charge. If they get close enough they'll try to club you.

Hunter's two main attacks are the beam and the "beat" or "melee".
Thats why it has it...
But an AI respawn script would be wonderful...

hmm hunters ai is a good idea in zanzibar but add more than just ai

About a year back I changed my biped to a hunter and noticed I couldn't beat so I was just wondering Detox. I was thinking maybe create two scripts for respawning. The current one and one that kills all AI before the Respawn so you do not get heaps like in that flood mod. Anyway back on topic I like the look of this mod but the hunter would be good with another AI. Will download soon.

Thanks a ton. I'm working on some multi-char maps right now. I have a Midship mod with Grunts and Jackals... Come to think about it, I might post it later.

looks like fun but only about 10-15 minutes. i like a lot of different kinds of characters playing and make them respawn!

Awesome man! I love AI mods, and now that it isn't going to freeze, maybe I can enjoy it. Good job.

Wait theres a script that kills off all the ai. I heard of the script that spawns the ai after it gets killed off, but not one that kills them off.
Nice ai mod, for a first.
I would recomend adding alot more ai, maybe some banshee's and all that stuff.

i hate the hunter bipd (as far as modding) i can never get it not to freeze, i nulled out every dsound imaginable. i can shoot it, knock it off edges, run it over
but a rocket and grenade still freezes it
