What the source file includes that my maps didn't:
MORE BRIDGES!!! for even longer courses
MORE WARTHOGS!!! for even better syslink playing
And everything is organized so its easy to create a map(even the warthogs!)
Guide Lines for competition:
all submitted racecourses must be hosted on halomods in patch form
A clever name must be presented with each course
no stealing ideas or names for your own track, In other words, play fair
Please leave a description above your mod
Try to get 3 or less pics if you can, NO MORE THAN 3
Skins are accepted but not required

Small Tut for those who want to try this out:
So you want to make a race course? Heres a list of instructions that even
a newb could understand
1. Download The source file on the topic page
2. Open The program "Entity"
3. Open the source map (containment)
4. Scroll Down to {SBSP}
5. click it and click the only tab inside of it
6. Go up to the top-right corner and click the scroll-down tab
7. Select RAW DATA EDITOR
8. If you have a cood graphics card and a good computer, a new tab window will open
9. Go to the top and select to view collections
10. hold "X" to go into map
Heres controls for Entity viewer
right mouse click:change view
left mouse click:select object
arrow keys: move object up, down, left, right
Page up: move object up
Page down:move object down
W:move camera angle forward
A:move camera angle left
D:move camera angle right
S:move camera angle back
X:move camera up(vertical)
Z:move camera down(also vertical)
Shift, Ctrl, Alt: change angles while holding down and moving mouse
IMPORTANT!!!!! you can't click more than one angle button per bridge(Or I guess warthog)
sign and ftp and WHAMO!!!! you got yourself a brand new racecourse

If your'e running out of track, that means your course is too big. I'm not saying you can't add more, but this means your about to run out. If you can move the last few bridges toward the exit, thats a good start. But if the point where you last left off seems too far away, You are going to need ADI(which will make you lose some of your hogs) or need to move a teleporter to the end of your course(which is okay, just not preferred)
1. moving a teleporter
Im pretty sure everyone using entity knows how to do this but for those who were just introduced to it because they wanted to make a course, You'll probably find this useful.
1. Open up the bsp viewer
2. go to the top and hit the button in the scroll down menu called "objective"
here is where you can move gametype stuff and teleporter stuff too.
3. Since I used Darkmatter for some reason(I forgot), its going to take a little longer. Make sure you only have objective selected. Don't have collections selected or this will mess up your map!
Now click ONE objective piece and move it slightly near your course.
4. Go to the top and click "move all objects here" with only objective on
5. Now just click something and move it away until you find one of the teleporter parts. after that they should all be together.
6. just move the exits to where you start and the entrances to the end of your course. And you're finnished! Yay!![]()
