[Mod]Taken Over

Taken Over
Brok3n Halo

From the start it was always Humans against Covenant, One fought for survival, The other for Extermination. Thousands have lost their lives for this battle, It was been going on for ages. There has been Heroes... There have been Traitors. There was many in which their names will never be forgotten. Still to this day the conflict wages on. Some say that one day the battle will be over, And the victorious shall been known, But it wont be won by the Humans nor the Covenant... One Race has been ranking up in numbers, As the Humans and the Covenant fight they will build until their numbers are immense. This race or Abomination, Are called "The Flood". As the war between Good and Evil continued on, This "Flood" have been observing as much as they could, The Humans Battle tactics same for Covenant, They have adapted to the Battle enviorments. They most definatly have the numbers to complete their goal. So lets travel 10 years before the invasion of "outskirts" takes place. The Admiral contacted Master Chief and told him about this "Flood" race and he asked for his advice, Then the MC gave the most far fetched piece of advice ever, "Sir, We cant fight this one alone, We need help. You told me that they want to take everything over, And That means Human And Covenant. Now im sure that the Covenant fleet would hate to have their territories taken over as well" The Admiral nods, " Cortana Get the Chief on a pelican and make sure he lands on a Covenant ship we need a new ally" Yes sir!, Chief lets go. 3 Days later, The Chief is at a covenant ship called "P.t.x.t.p.t.s.B.H" He is immediatly taken to prison where he begs to talk to the Covenant leader. 2 Elite Honor Gaurds take him to the main control room where he meets the Zealot Elite, He explains the whole story and boom their allies (sorry I have to cut it short so we can get to the mod) Lets go back to present times, The Master Chief is on a pelican with Elite and Mairne infantry to try and retake "outskirts" Lets see if the can make it....

Here are some footnotes
-First off, This mod is very hard, I mean really hard, If you must play it with a trainer and on easy, once you beat it and know the surroundings then go ahead and take the trainer off, This mod makes you think a lot, You need to make stragedies.

-There are some bugs, When srg says "theres jackals in the courtyard" you need to kill all jackals and then go back to the begining of the level and there will be a flood that just stands there... kill him, Then when srg says buggers on the rooftop walk around for a bit then jackals and traitor grunts will appear so kill then and soon enough you will get to "check point reached"

-ok this is the annoying part that im going to try and fix, The flood sound like srg and grunts combined, It has to be something with the UDLG tag so ill fix that soon
thats all the bugs I can think of

So hows the whole car accident scene. Glad to see it hasn't cripled your modding life like it has others.

This looks great! About the UDLG problem, its not an easy one to fix. If you import the UDLG using Entity, the sounds will work, but the UDLG will not. Or, maybe, it's just a problem with MP. I don't know.

How would you add this to the mainmenu?
Could you just add it as a mp map or do you have to find some plugin?

You add it as a new SP map ;)

Use Shades Mainmenu Editor or Insolence.

hmm, To tell teh truth that would be cool to add new SP levels, But first we need to discover new things about SP, sounds like fun :lol:

Some of the MP values didn't save, Sp should work fine though.

You can use Tfav's Halo 2 USE for adding SP maps to the mainmenu.
