Properties of Ghost Gun
I'm building a mod based on the Raptor X-17 Hybrid. I got the model from another place, and that works fine, however, I have one small problem. The body of the Raptor is built from the Warthog hull, so the weapons fire from the middle of the plane. I would like to make the weapon fire from BOTH wingtips, sort of like the ghost gun fires from two seperate cannons on the ghost hull. I've ben trying to do this for a day or two now, and I'm stumped. From what I can tell, this property isnt in the [weap] or [proj] tags; I can only guess its in the [vehi] or [hlmt] tags somewhere. but I have no clue how to change this. Does anyone know how to make a gun fire from two places? I've posted an image of the Raptor, hopefully that will give you an idea of what im trying to do.
(See what I mean about the firing position?)

Breaker That wouldnt work cause the ghost actually fires 2 different weapons not one single one with 2 spawn points(Im pretty sure)
My suggestion would be to change it slightly so that one trigger controls the right rocket pod and the other controls, well the other.
Then have them have longer refire rates.....
Thats the easiest way that i know
Oh and just change the projectile spawn point like you were doing an airstrike only using the X axis not the Z

well then! The projectile airstrike thing will give you one way to change a spawn. Maybe there's some way that you can add another trigger and use the b button to shoot both projectiles. I'm not sure of how to give the ghost gun 2 projectile spawns from one trigger.
There surely has to be some chunk adding somewhere in this.

Wait, this is a mod of a warthog, not like a warthog replacing a ghost right? If it is, I would change the warthog's projectiles to whatever you want it to be, and move where they spawn in the weapon tag. It has XYZ coordinates.
(Warthog has two projectiles, ADI shows them out, but Dot-Halo doesn't, I don't know why.)

that looks familiar... but mabye this thread can help me with the same idea, i was planning on replacing the warthog horn weap, with the tank turret [weap] i am planning on having rockets fire from the normal location and a secondart fire bullets from halfway down the wings...
i can move the projectile spawn point of the bullets, but i need them to spawn from 2 diffferent locations, one on the left wing, and one on the right wing.

What you need is probably in the attachment points section of the Ghost mode tag
I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.

Here's my suggestion:
First, start off with the wapon you have on the hog now (I'm not sure this can be done with a vehicle weapon though) and dupe it. (in this case you might want to take the longsword hlmt off one of them)
Then you set both weapons to have pretty much the same properties (same projectile, rate of fire etc.)
Then add another weapon chunk to the warthog.vehi so it now has 2 weapons.
On one weapon you set the projectile spawn point to come out of one wing, and set the other to come out of the other wing.
I was going to do that for an X Wing but I decided to turn Master Cheif in to a milk carton instead.
Also, if this works, you could give the other weapon a longsword hlmt, and move the model so there are some smaller wings at the front.

Those who can't play, mod.
And those who can't mod, mod PC.
TLM has been discussing this a bit and we were a bit stumped. I looked into the attachments (markers) on various vehicle models and the only ones I can find that have a marker I can readily identify as being a projectile spawn point are the turrets. All turrets have them, including the wraith's miniguns. They're labeled as primary_trigger or secondary_trigger. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any coresponding markers on any non-turret vehicles.
I haven't looked at weapon models yet, though. If they have the markers, then you could probably swap in the weap and rename some useless markers on the vehicle to whatever the weap uses and move them to where you want 'em.
