WAHOO ANOTHER MAP RESIGNER! EVERYONE JUMP FOR JOY!

Most credits go to the dude who made the Uber Duper Randomizer.

Seriosly, the only reasons I made this was for: faster resigning than the other mass map resigners, and to learn VB. It has a very ghetto interface, not attractive at all. But it signs the maps nice and quickly. It also doesnt lag up and say "Not Responding" when encrypting the maps!

This was not made using the xdk correct?

Also, before any bright (read dim) people even think about flaming.......Don't go there.....

Sorry for putting Console Application. I meant it as command prompt type. Didnt mean to confuse people. Btw, this was not made for nice interface, more for getting the job done quickly. For those that want the source to one with a nice interface, ill post it in a little bit.

Hasn't a mass map resigner already been released a long time ago, where you would right click on the map then click resign?

yes but the old one didnt have the source code with it and i did this for learning/speed..

EDIT: Ok, when I open up the program, there is no UI, it just goes to like a black screen thing, and it says signature complete and nothing happens

Do I have to have this in the same map folder as the maps?

I think we should make a resigner section for the halo2 downloads section, that way people can post all the frivilous resigners they want without spamming the good stuff.

The resigner files need to be like this:
C:\Maps (folder)
C:\Resigner.exe

They can be anywhere, the maps folder just needs to be with the resigner.exe. Ill re-upload the app with the maps folder so it doesnt confuse people.

Put your maps in the maps folder.
This will resign ANY Halo 2 map, but will not fix the original signature encryption, it gives it a new one (so that means no playing in the TDATA).

this was made in visual basic, he just chose console instead of windows


Good job on the app, 1 thing u could do is add ''If (Directory.Exists(CurDir())) Then'' at the start to make it faster at realising there is no maps.... just a suggestion

He means it doesn't correctly sign the DLC/TDATA maps. (I think.)
