HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Small taste of whats to come.

Config:
back+dpad-up = 1p perspective
back+dpad-down = 3p perspective
back+dpad-left = chasecam perspective
back+dpad-right = stationary perspective
rthumb+lthumb = screencap

Instructions:
This trainer is to be used only with an original xbe, no autoupdates. It will only take one screenshot at a time. You can overwrite as many times as you'd like, but it will only create one file.

To grab the image you will need to ftp into your xbox and go into your "E:\TDATA\4d530064" directory.

You will see a file called "screencap.raw". Transfer this file to "C:\Documents and Settings\YOURDOCUMENTS" along with the "deswizzle.exe" (unknown author).

Once you have both files in that directory, open up commnd prompt (go to START->Run...then type "cmd" and click okay).

Now type "deswizzle screencap.raw image.bmp" and press enter. The raw dump should now be converted into a bitmap.

This is awesome! You're awesome xbox7877:D ! What do you mean it will be converted to a bitmap? Do you mean a .dds or a jpeg image? I think a jpeg image would be way better so people don't have to have a capture card or some other pic taking program to take pics of stuff for Halo2. Great job though!

Uber - but any chance of attaching this to the flycam trainer or a freeze cam trainer?

Or would it be possible to make this a game-independent trainer, that will take pics in any xbe, and can be loaded along with other trainers too (that don't conflict with its own button scheme)?

Or what about getting high-resolution or true wide-screen pics?

I stripped everything from this...you wont see a final version until I feel it's absolutely perfect and ready to be released.
